Hello there!
My name is Eric, and this is my first blog post.
My domain is ejmcg.com, and my subdomain is dgst101.ejmcg.com
I intend to utilize this site to expand my skills and extend to more advanced website building. I also find that it would be an asset to be able to build a strong portfolio website for both my coding and my art, so I hope to become proficient in this area.
I had chosen ejmcg.com as my domain, because it is a rather straightforward shortening of my full name. I was originally going to name it “ejm” as opposed to “ejmcg”, but it is taken. The latter fulfills the same general idea though, and it might be easier to discern it as mine.
I do not currently have social embeds on the site; however, I will probably start to embed them throughout the semester, mainly because I do not have that much of a social media presence of my own yet.
I am excited for the growth of this site, and I will continue to build it up until it looks clean, professional, and aesthetic.
